REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING)
Welcome, I'm so glad you are here. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with children, teens, and young adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, school stress, sleep difficulties, relationship concerns, and more. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly understood.
My approach is collaborative and person-centred. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely heard and supported, while also being gently encouraged toward insight, growth, and meaningful change. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and family systems approaches, tailoring each session to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of the individual.
For the littles, I take a developmentally sensitive approach that recognizes that young children often express themselves through play rather than words. I incorporate play-based therapy, creative activities, and interactive tools to help children explore emotions, build coping skills, and make sense of their experiences in a way that feels natural to them. I also work collaboratively with caregivers to support children’s emotional growth and well-being both inside and outside of the therapy space.
I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion in the therapeutic relationship. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, deepen self-understanding, and develop tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to explore their inner world and move toward greater confidence, resilience, and connection.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I work under clinical supervision of Terrilee Kelford (BA Psych, M.A.C.P.)
