My practice is grounded in creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where children, teens and young adults can feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences. I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported at their own pace. I provide individual therapy for concerns including anxiety, school challenges, stress, anger management, self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, stress, ADHD-related challenges, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and depression. Using evidence-based approaches, I work collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and support meaningful personal growth. The sections below outline the populations I work with, the therapeutic approaches I integrate, and the areas I commonly support clients through. If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you or don’t see your specific concern listed, I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation to see whether we may be a good fit.

The Space

Therapy in a calm, supportive space

Whether we meet in person or virtually, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to speak openly without fear of judgment.

Therapy is a place to slow down, explore what’s been weighing on you, and feel genuinely heard. Sessions are collaborative, paced around your needs, and grounded in compassion, curiosity, and trust.

My Therapeutic Approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches that support emotional growth, self-understanding, coping skills, and meaningful change.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

A structured, present-focused approach for identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

An approach focused on mindfulness, emotional flexibility, and learning how to respond to difficult thoughts and feelings with greater self-compassion and intention.

  • Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy helps clients explore the stories they hold about themselves, separate from problems, and build more empowering and meaningful perspectives.

  • Family System Approach

Family-informed approaches explore how relationships, communication patterns, and family dynamics can shape emotions, behaviours, and personal experiences.

  • Strength Based Approach

Therapy focuses not only on challenges, but also on resilience, personal strengths, values, and existing coping abilities that can support growth and healing.

  • Play Based & Creative Approach

With children and younger clients, therapy may include play, creativity, drawing, games, storytelling, and other age-appropriate activities to support emotional expression, connection, and coping skill development in a safe and engaging way.

Areas of Support

Therapy can support a wide range of emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. Below are some of the areas I commonly help children, teens, and young adults navigate.

  • Anxiety

Support for generalized anxiety, overthinking, social anxiety, panic, school stress, and the constant worry that can make daily life feel overwhelming.

  • ADHD

Support for attention difficulties, emotional regulation, executive functioning challenges, motivation, overwhelm, and navigating life with ADHD.

  • Depression & Low Mood

Compassionate support for sadness, emotional exhaustion, hopelessness, loss of motivation, and feeling disconnected from yourself or others.

  • Self-Esteem & Identity

Exploring self-worth, confidence, identity, perfectionism, and the inner critic while building a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

  • Life Transitions & Relationships

Navigating friendship struggles, family conflict, communication difficulties, boundaries, relationship stress, and major life changes.

  • Emotional Regulation

Support for managing overwhelming emotions, frustration, emotional shutdown, irritability, stress, and learning healthier coping strategies.

Support for school-related stress, academic pressure, perfectionism, procrastination, test anxiety, burnout, and feeling overwhelmed by expectations at school or university.

  • Sleep

Support for racing thoughts at night, difficulty falling asleep, disrupted sleep routines, anxiety-related sleep challenges, and building healthier sleep habits.
